Our management philosophy includes the use of practical software and Internet technology. The word "practical" is highlighted for a reason — we believe in optimizing generally accepted processes in lieu of mandating solutions that require countless hours of training and process modification.

We are familiar with most of the industry standard applications and we support their use. One of our principals (Larry Wares) co-founded two of the industry's leading applications - BidFax® and Buzzsaw®. Our unique combination of industry experience combined with the familiarity and use of technology enables RM Dalton to provide a level of service that generates strong value for our clients.

Buzzsaw

Buzzsaw is a web-based collaboration package used by many of the leading architects and engineers in North America. Owners and developers use Buzzsaw to manage planning and design, construction administration and project archiving. Contractors also use Buzzsaw to streamline the construction process. RM Dalton utilizes this package extensively (at no additional cost to it's clients*) to save time and money, and to reduce risk.

Computerized Scheduling

Whether it's Primavera® or Microsoft®, RM Dalton understands the importance of computerized scheduling. We can build the schedule from scratch, or we can help you monitor schedules created by your consultants and contractors.

Estimating

Computerized estimating/budgeting is one of our specialties. RM Dalton is familiar with Timberline®, WinEst®, MS Excel® and most of the other popular estimating packages. Our budgets are extremely detailed and accurate. The principals of RM Dalton have prepared over $6.0 billion in conceptual and fixed bid construction budgets.
